The Exchange began as an extension ministry of First Alliance Church, Calgary in October 2012. Since then it has developed its own unique identity within First Alliance and operates as a church within a church.
Sharing in FAC’s desire to “build lives that honour God,” The Exchange exists “to glorify God by making disciples of Jesus Christ”.
Our focus is to accomplish this mission through Jesus-centred Community, Mission, and Worship. We believe that in order to reach our city for Jesus we need to remind each other that we are called to be good news people to each other and to our world 7 days a week. Our desire is to be in community and on mission together and to invite others to do the same as we endeavor to make disciples of Jesus.
Our Sunday gatherings are marked by an informal and “come as you are” feel. Every Sunday gathering is all about making Jesus the hero, celebrating who God is what He has done, and being reminded of the beauty of the Gospel so that we can be encouraged to live it out the rest of the week.
God has given us a platform and an incredible support network within First Alliance Church. We are excited to see where He leads us in the future.
