We have been surprised and delighted to process God's provision over the last few years but we have been overwhelmed by the graciousness of our God in the last couple of months.
Our town has put a freeze on all zoning for churches. There is next to no land available in our town and land prices are very high. In this context it is even more overwhelming when God provides.
We were offered and have accepted the free gift of a mortgage-free church building and property on Main Street in Stouffville. This new building is a mere 5 buildings west of our current rental location and gives us fantastic visibility on the busiest street in town. If all goes smoothly with the lawyers we will take possession of this building on March 1st and our first service will be Good Friday, March 25th.
This is creating a great buzz in our town and enabling our people to have many interesting and excited, positive conversations about God and what He is doing at our church. It has also raised the interest and participation levels of many of our regulars and visitors.
