We have been on the ground in Barrie for about a month. Life has gone fast! Moving and settling always takes more time than expected. Our long-term vision is to see a network of Missional Communities developed all over the city of Barrie. It is a daunting and exciting dream!
We have seen God already at work in moving this vision from a dream to a reality. Our number one priority at the moment is seeing our first MC established, so we have jumped into life in Barrie with both feet and are watching God open doors in the lives of others. It seems like God is always one step ahead of us. Melissa and I were planning on throwing a big garage party to connect with neighbours (garage parties are something you do in Barrie), but before we were done planning the party, we were invited to a neighbour’s garage party. This allowed us to join in with something that was already going on. It was awesome! God is always at work and making things better than what we could have planned.
