New Ventures starts with people. This means we go the extra mile to develop leaders, nurturing their individual gifts and sense of calling.
This year at General Assembly 2018 for the Christian & Missionary Alliance in Canada, we released a video highlighting the story of two such leaders, who were given a space to explore their calling in Quebec.
As part of Assembly, Ryan Graham, Director of Envision Canada, interviewed Dom Ruso, Pastor of the180 Church, where Matteo Mortelliti (shown in the video) now serves as a youth pastor.
Dom challenged existing leaders in the Christian & Missionary Alliance to realize that if we hunger for a deeper move of God, we must prepare leaders who are ready to manage the kinds of situations and conflict that will ensue as He does new things. Our challenge as a denomination is to come alongside future leaders, and yet be willing to get out of the way as new things emerge.
