St. Thomas is a city in the heart of Southwestern Ontario with a growing population but a shrinking number of churches.
Seven churches have closed in the last five years and a number of other churches are in decline. Bill Janzen feels called to plant this New Venture as a fresh way to reach out to the young adults and families of St. Thomas who see church as outdated or irrelevant.
Says Bill, "I'm excited about gathering a brand new community that will be directly focused on the mission of God and reaching new people for Jesus. I grew up in St. Thomas so I'm also excited to serve in the city that I know and love."
